Atlanta Peach Movers is proud to have the largest fleet of trucks in Georgia, enabling us to do local and interstate moves with our own crews and quick turn around times. ABSOLUTELY NO CASUAL LABOR, NO TEMPS.
With over 20 years experience and an annual revenue of over $9 million, Atlanta Peach Movers is an established and dependable provider of moving services throughout Georgia. We have won the Consumer Choice awards 6 out of the last 7 years.
Atlanta Peach Movers has a unique training facility. Here we train all packers, loaders, and supervisors on our policy and procedures. Most companies send at least one inexperienced worker during the busy season. We will only send trained professional movers into your home!
Packing services are mostly done with lady packing crews for that extra attention to detail. We use a staging area and pack on top of boxes rather than on your furniture to prevent scratching your tabletops.
Atlanta Peach Movers only uses full time employees. Here you can see how we will first blanket wrap and then shrink-wrap your couch BEFORE moving it out of the house. ABSOLUTELY NO CASUAL LABOR, NO TEMPS.
Proper packing of a storage vault is vitally important to ensure no damage occurs while the contents are being stored.
Storage vaults are packed with boxes and furniture alike to maximize space and create a tight fit so no shifting occurs.

Hey all.
I recently got my Master's degree from a school in the midwest, and got a job offer (but haven't accepted it yet), a research job, in Durham/Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. I've never been there before, I don't know anyone there, and so I'm not sure whether moving there would be the best thing for me.
I went from school to school, even for my undergraduate program on the West Coast. So moving is normal for me. But you meet a lot of people in school (in your dorms, classes, on campus), but moving for a job is different, I think. Yeah, I'll meet new friends at the job, but I would still be socially disconnected.
Any advice? I don't know whether I should take it or not. It's a great job and a great company, but not sure about the move.

The moving company will charge about $110 per hour for the move. It is customary to tip the movers also. What is appropriate?

I'm already sure of what area I want to live in. I've looked at apartments. When would be a good time to go see apartments and also apply for jobs. Should I register with staffing companies? What is a good amount of money to have prior to moving? Any tips, suggestions anything.

I rented a truck, and they offer help from their employees, so they are lending me one guy to help me load up my truck and then unload it into storage (Its not a lot of stuff at all!)
I want to tip him, but is it customary? And how much should I tip him, considering hes helping and not doing all the work?
Thanks.

We're relocating several states away, and the company is paying to have us moved. ALSO – we will be in temporary housing (read: much smaller than what we have now) for a while, so we'll probably want some things where we're living and others in a storage unit.
What are some guidelines for working with movers, and will they work with us on what we do/don't want in our temporary space? Do you tip movers?
I've never had the luxury of professional movers before – we've always done it within the same city and with the help of people we know. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am helping my daughters family pack for a move out of state. They leave in 2 weeks and have a LOT of stuff. We are having a yard sale next weekend. Fortunately, the weather will remain hot and sunny for the duration so we can use the yard for sorting. A professional moving company will be packing so nothing can be packed by the family. Also, any garage sale tips will be greatly appreciated! Thanks! An OVERWHELMED MOM AND DAUGHTER!!!!!!

Hello all,
I was wondering if I need to tip the guys that will be removing extraneous items from my home later this week. I am moving and have a lot of junk furniture and whatnot, and made an appointment for a company called 'eco-haul' to move all my stuff out. It's a lot of stuff, including furniture and household goods. I know moving guys get tips, but wondering what to do in this situation.
