Flipper asked:

So I met a woman a few months ago, we dated for awhile and after we broke up we remained friends. But I ruined that because my heart always wanted to be more then just friends. So now we have stopped talking completely but she is still on my mind constantly. I know it is time to move on now but I guess I really don't know how. Tips please

When that happened to me I did a lot of reading– self help books helped me a ton.. Also time will heal– and i know you don't want to hear that, but it really does… Also do stuff to keep you busy like going to the gym, go camping, or just invest more time into yourself and your hobbies.

same here, I try not to think about it, put music on and start crying because even the songs i didn't like reminds me of him! i don't know i guess just wanna get drunk, go party, dance my heart out, pretend i am happy, work, work, work and answer this questions that help me realize I'm not the only miserable human been in the planet!

Dude, I'm in the same position. I dated a girl for a year, and I was completely in love with her. We broke up 3 months ago, and I'm still a wreck over the whole thing.
Try thinking of the negatives in your relationship, what SHE did wrong, because that sometimes help. If it doesn't, music usually helps.
Hang out with people a lot, the more you're out, the less she's on your mind.
The two things I don't recommend are using other girls as a replacement, and drugs/drinking.

Keep busy…even if you don't feel like it cuz you'll just keep thinking about her if you're just sitting around.

When my ex and I were finished I never thought I'd be ok again. I cried and cried and cried and that is normal. Its ok to be sad…but as cliche as it sounds time will heal all wounds (most of them anyways) Now here I am with a great guy who loves me as much as I love him.

Just hang out with friends anad have fun, but don't try to fill the void with another *****. That won't work.

Anyways sorry you're going thru this…Good luck!
